A two-alarm fire early Friday at a hotel near the airport forced guests to evacuate but there were no injuries, officials say.
Tucson Fire went to the Baymont by Wyndham Hotel, at 6955 S. Tucson Blvd., about 4 a.m. and could see smoke coming from its roof and guests were evacuated, according to posts on the department's official X account.
The fire was located on the third floor and was called “under control” about 4:30 a.m., Tucson fire said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, officials say.
