Two runways used by commercial aircraft re-opened Friday night after an earlier outage of airfield lights, authorities said.
The runways were operational shortly before 10 p.m., said Jessie Butler, a spokeswoman for Tucson Airport Authority. The problem was resolved.
Information on affected flights can be obtained at flytucson.com, TIA officials said.
"Some of the planes are coming in now, and some flights that could not arrive tonight will have to be re-booked," said Butler, adding that some flights were diverted to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
Butler said she did not know how many flights were diverted, or how many people will have to re-book flights.
She also did not know what caused the outage of lights on the airfield.
