Arizona is expected to file an appeal with the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Even though such cases often can take as long as a year before they're heard, the high-profile nature of the SB 1070 case should get it heard within a month or two, said Gabriel "Jack" Chin, a University of Arizona law professor.
