- Renews its first-Tuesday-of-the-month fundraiser benefiting the Southern Arizona Community Food Bank, Tu Nidito, the Alzheimerβs Association, The Fisher House Foundation, Casa de los NiΓ±os, The American Cancer Society and the Humane Society. On Nov. 3, from 4-6 p.m., donate up to $50, and the store, 6350 N. Oracle Road, will double it.
- Fleet Feet Sports Tucson:
- Its βPower of Runningβ initiative donated to the Southern Arizona Roadrunnerβs Childrenβs Fitness Fund and created a Loop Safely campaign in conjunction with Pima Countyβs Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation, the Sheriffβs Department and the Bike Ambassador Program. Fleet Feetβs Loop Safely campaign is a three-part series that kicks off Nov. 1 at the Heirloom Farmers Market and culminates with free self-defense courses in December and January. - Restaurants will donate a portion of in-restaurant sales on Nov. 3, from 4-10 p.m., to high schools, up to $1,000 per restaurant, through a partnership with the NFHS Network. Schools benefiting include Flowing Wells, Sunnyside, Ironwood Ridge and Sierra Vistaβs Buena.
