Ascensus, a national financial-services firm specializing in retirement and college savings, celebrated the opening of a new office at the UA Tech Park Tuesday.
The company has about 60 Tucson employees with plans to expand to about 170 in the next two years.
The Pennsylvania-based company selected the UA Tech Park, on the Tucsonβs southeast side, following a national search, citing the cityβs workforce and the facilities on Rita Road near Interstate 10.
Positions to be filled include service-center representatives, actuaries, account managers and software developers.
The average salary is about $42,000. Most positions will require a bachelorβs degree.
