- Desert Diamond Casinos: The Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise presented a total of $135,00 to the beneficiaries of their 2018 Desert Diamond Casinos Golf Classic. This year’s recipients are the Tohono O’odham Nation Department of Health and Human Services Dialysis Advocate Program; the Tohono O’odham Nation Cultural Center and Museum; and Ha:san Educational Services, which operates a community-based school for Native youth in Southern Arizona.
- Southwest Women’s Charitable Club: From June 2017 to May 2018 the organization awarded a $3,250 scholarship to a University of Arizona nursing student and $1,000 each to Youth on Their Own, Project Linus (Tucson) and Live Theater Workshop, for a total of $6,250.00. Over the holidays, the club also provided toys to the Toys for Tots Campaign.
