  • Triangle Y Ranch Camp: More than 50 Home Depot associates in the area partnered with the YMCA of Southern Arizona and Habitat for Humanity to transform the Triangle Y Ranch Camp. Originally established in 1949 as a boy’s camp, Triangle Y Ranch Camp is now a co-ed camp that serves more than 1,000 youth each summer and 3,000 guests from August to May. More than 400 military families will be impacted by the improvements made by the Home Depot. The project in Oracle is a part of the Home Depot’s ongoing efforts to improve the homes and lives of U.S. military veterans and their families. Volunteer projects included installing drainage systems, painting the building’s exterior, installing exterior stairs to the building’s entrance, installing LED light bulbs to save energy costs, and adding outdoor living and grilling accessories.
  • Carondelet: St. Mary’s, St. Joseph’s and Holy Cross hospitals led a community effort to provide area children and adults struggling with hunger with a healthy breakfast during the summer through its Healthy Over Hungry Cereal Drive benefiting the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. In addition to accepting donations of cereal, Carondelet Health Network’s parent company, Tenet Healthcare, matched financial donations up to $100,000.
