Tim Grover works with some of the most successful athletes in the world. He builds them up physically and mentally when they need it the most. Most of the professionals he deals with are incredibly talented. Just a few of them are what Grover describes as β€œunstoppable.” These are the best of the best, the Michael Jordans of the world.

Unstoppable personalities exist everywhere, including in the business community, arts and entertainment, politics and maybe even within your family.

Grover wrote a book called β€œFrom Good, to Great to Unstoppable β€” Relentless.” In the book, he shares some lessons we can learn from the highest achievers in the world.

According to Grover, those who are unstoppable look at failure differently than most.

Normal people often justify failure by saying something like β€œIt’s OK, I tried my best.” Unstoppable personalities eliminate the word β€œtry” from their vocabulary. They think that β€œtrying” is an invitation to fail. To them all that matters is β€œdoing.”

Did you do everything you could do? What exactly did you do? Is there anything you could do differently to change the outcome in your favor?

When unstoppable personalities sense failure, they see it as a signal to change direction. They adapt and try a different approach to achieve the goal. They are relentless and keep going, when mere mortals typically quit.

According to Grover, there are thousands of extremely talented people out there who never seem to accomplish anything significant.

With talent must come preparation, action and development. The key to pinnacle achievement is mental preparation. Your mind controls your body, so think like a champion. Passion and inner drive will get you nowhere unless you act on it.

Everyone on the planet has a gift. Your job is to discover your gift and decide what you are going to do with it.
