Tucson Real Estate: 4 Pinkberry yogurt shops could open in the area in next 18 months

Arizona Ice Cream Co. Inc. will open a Pinkberry frozen yogurt shop at Marana Marketplace this spring.

The treat shop leased 1,100 square feet in the marketplace, 3820 W. River Road, and plans to open up to four Tucson-area Pinkberry locations in the next 18 months, said Scott Soelter, with NAI Horizon, who represented the tenant in the lease.

Arizona Ice Cream Co. Inc. also operates two local Cold Stone Creamery stores.

Pinkberry, which offers frozen desserts, has more than 260 locations and is headquartered in Scottsdale.

The landlord, Marana Marketplace Partners LLC, was represented by Melissa Lal of Larsen Baker. Tenants at Marana Marketplace include Sprouts, PetSmart, Conn’s, Sports Clips and Guitar Center.

• 220Properties LLC, of Tucson, bought a 41,134-square-foot building at 8950 N. Oracle Road for $4.5 million. Jon O’Shea, Rob Fischrup and Eric Lamb, of Vast Commercial Real Estate Solutions, represented the buyer. The seller, NU-Vista 8950 LLC, was represented by Buzz Isaacson, with CBRE.
• Lantana II LLC bought 119,995 square feet of land at 1095 W. St. Mary’s Road from Tucson Lynx LLC for $850,000. Rick Borane, of Volk Co., represented the buyer.
• Caliber Home Loans Inc. leased 5,501 square feet at 1 S. Church Ave. Bruce Suppes, David Volk, of CBRE Tucson, and Chase Neyland, of CBRE Dallas, represented the tenant. Jeff Casper, of CBRE Tucson, represented the landlord, 1SC Partners LLC.
• BTAZ LLC leased 4,800 square feet at 732 N. Stone Ave. Jeff Casper, of CBRE, represented the tenant, and CBRE’s Buzz Isaacson represented the landlord, Cope Properties.
• Skin Concierge LLC leased 1,369 square feet at 1310 W. St. Mary’s Road from Campana De Plata LLC. Lori Casey and Cameron Casey, of Oxford Realty Advisors, represented the tenants, Dr. Mark Austein and Dr. Rachel Schacht. Oxford Realty’s Lori Casey and Dough Marsh represented the landlord, Dr. Rene Dominguez.
