Alorica employees stand behind Mayor Jonathan Rothschild and Council member Richard Fimbres for a symbolic ribbon cutting celebrating the successful merger with Expert Global Solutions. The merger was announced in June 2016.

A customer service call center with two offices in Tucson will add 200 new jobs by the end of July.

Alorica, the company that acquired call center company Expert Global Solutions last year, is already Tucson’s 10th largest private employer, with more than 2,000 employees.

Steve Cheeseman, the Senior Site Director for Alorica here in Tucson, said the acquisition brings in more resources that allows the customer service provided the ability to continue to grow.

“As this new combined company, we have a greater ability to provide jobs to this community and have greater leverage to give back to this community,” he said on Monday.

The company has been in Tucson for 20 years.

Tucson Mayor Jonathan Rothschild congratulated the company’s continuing practice of promoting from within, noting many employees have been with the company for over a decade.

Nearly the entire Alorica leadership team in Tucson had worked their way up the company’s corporate ladder, starting off with entry-level jobs, a company official said.

“That’s the kind of approach and corporate culture that changes lives and families for the better,” he said.

Ken Muché, the Director of Global Public Relations for Alorica, said the company continues to grow as it offers various types of customer service options for its clients from answering customer’s questions by phone, email, Internet-based web chats as well as text messaging.

The company has more than 100,000 employees in 150 locations across 16 countries
