Bradley Rhea, owner of Barrio Vintage in Honolulu, sets up a display Thursday for a retro Hawaiian pop-up shop at How Sweet It Was Vintage boutique in Tucson at 424 E. 6th St. Rhea, a Tucson native, is showcasing vintage Hawaiian fashion from the 60s, 70s and 80s. “I’m bringing some classic aloha-wear from the 50s, wild 1960s tiki prints and even some rad surf shorts from the 80s — the type of clothing that will have you feeling like you’re sipping a mai tai on Waikiki Beach,” Rhea said. The pop-up event commenced with a Hawaiian themed party Thursday night, and will run through Sunday, while supplies last. Barrio Vintage is a Hawaii vintage clothing retailer that has been feature in Nylon Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and Vogue Japan.

A Tucson vintage boutique is hosting a pop-up of retro Hawaiiana clothing.
The pop up, curated by Barrio Vintage of Honolulu, Hawaii, is being held at How Sweet It Was Vintage boutique, 424 E. Sixth St.
Kicking off Thursday, April 20, at 7 p.m., the event will continue through Sunday while supplies last.
Founded by Tucson native Bradley Rhea, Barrio Vintage is a Hawaii vintage clothing retailer that has been featured in Nylon Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and Vogue Japan.
“I’m bringing some classic aloha-wear from the 50’s, wild 1960’s tiki prints, and even some rad surf shorts from the 80’s, the type of clothing that will have you feeling like you’re sipping a MaiTai on Waikiki Beach,” Rhea said.
