Kneaders No. 3 is opening in Oro Valley next weekend, and it has some surprises to encourage folks to drop by.

On the opening weekend, Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, the first 100 guests in the door each day get a free Chunky Cinnamon French Toast meal made with Kneaders in-house, scratch-made cinnamon bread and caramel syrup.

The restaurant will donate 10 percent of its opening weekend sales to a school in Oro Valley and will donate all its unsold bread to Catalina Community Services and Canyon del Oro High School at the end of each business day.

The Oro Valley Kneaders, at 9600 N. Oracle Road, is the third Kneaders to open in Tucson since the chain made inroads with its first restaurant at 135 S. Wilmot Road in July 2015. A second restaurant opened at East River and North Craycroft roads in August.

The Oro Valley restaurant will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays; it’s closed on Sundays.

This is the 18th Arizona Kneaders location. Franchised by Four Foods Group out of Utah, the restaurant specializes in artisanal European breads, sandwiches, soups and salads.
