Ten local Allstate agencies donated $10,000 to Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse as part of the Helping Hands in the Community grant.

  • Allstate: Ten local Allstate agencies presented a $10,000 check from the Helping Hands in the Community grant to Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse.

The donation is part of a region-wide drive for the Purple Purse program, a national campaign by The Allstate Foundation aimed at ending domestic violence and providing long-term safety and security for survivors through financial empowerment.

  • Sundt Foundation: The organization gave $23,500 to nine area nonprofits. Receiving grants of $3,000 each were: Community Home Repair Projects of Arizona, Saddlebrooke Troop Support, and the Southern Arizona Children’s Advocacy Center.

The American Red Cross of Southern Arizona, Make Way for Books, TOP DOG, Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse, and YMCA of Southern Arizona were each awarded $2,500 grants. Pantano Christian Church received a $2,000 grant.

The Sundt Foundation was established in 1999 by Sundt Construction Inc. as a way for its employee-owners to give back to the communities in which they live and work. The organization is funded primarily by contributions from Sundt employees, which are matched by the company.
