I always look forward to Easter, just for this ... And I'm Jewish!!!!

Making this list made me hungry ... And you'll see why. Easter is prime time for Tucson restaurants to roll out their beautiful spring menus. If this is any indication, 2017 looks like it's gonna be a delicious year. Just make sure to get your spot soon, spaces are filling up!

at Cup Cafe

Brunch it up at Cup Cafe where you can order the usual cast iron baked eggs or one of the two Easter brunch options; Easter Eggs Benedict or the leg of lamb roulade from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

at Maynards Market & Kitchen

This fixed four-course brunch is hyper-local this year, with goodies like hangar steak rubbed in Caffe Luce coffee and Beignets made from White Sonora Wheat.

Brunch at Agustin is offered à la carte, with tempting starters like a warm prosciutto salad and poached orange with creamy burrata cheese. Mains range from the light spring skillet with local kale and eggs, to a plate of cider-brined ham.

at The Melting Pot

Easter brunch at Melting Pot includes an Easter egg hunt and a visit with Mr. Hoppy. It's a three-course meal with chocolate and cheese fondue, plus different entree selections for kids and adults. Make your reservation between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to get the full package. Activities last until around 4 p.m.

In addition to the regular Sunday menu, this vegetarian restaurant will serve an Easter meal of spinach mushroom quiche with a creamy vegan cheese sauce, smoky "bacon" zucchini strips, potatoes and a fresh fruit salad. The meal comes with an Easter cupcake for $16.95.

The east-side steakhouse is doing an Easter buffet that includes house-smoked brisket and pork; seafood options like mussels, shrimp and crab legs; prime rib and ham; fresh cheeses; waffle bar; desserts and more.

The upscale Italian restaurant at La Encantada is running a special menu with several Easter specials like short ribs glazed in red wine with creamy polenta and a filet of beef with crispy potatoes and roasted mushrooms.

The upscale Mexican restaurant at St. Philip's Plaza will have a special Easter menu with options like chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, breakfast chorizo tacos and breakfast burritos.
