All Souls Procession

The 2017 All Souls Procession on Tucson's west side.

Hey, Tucson! It's almost time for the annual All Souls Procession.

That means 120,000 people will take over the Mercado San Agustin and areas surrounding it this Sunday, Nov. 4.

To minimize your driving and parking worries, Sun Tran will be offering additional bus service to All Souls participants from 4 to 7 p.m. Regular bus service will take a detour due to the procession.

The buses will pick up passengers every 5 to 7 minutes near the Ronstadt Transit Center, 215 E. Congress Street. Passengers will be dropped off close to the procession's starting point near West Speedway and North Grande Avenue.

The procession will end near the Mercado San Agustin, which is close to a streetcar stop. Folks who need to return to the downtown area can take the Sun Link streetcar, which will have extended hours and will run until 10:30 p.m.

And in case you need some parking ideas:

  • Limited parking spots are available near West Speedway and North Grande Avenue
  • Free street parking on Fourth Avenue, Main Gate Square, and downtown
  • Free parking at the Tyndall, Main Gate, and Highland garages on the University of Arizona campus
  • Downtown parking options can be found here

In the meantime, here are 44 photos to inspire you for this year's procession:
