Sabian Trout directs this quartet with an eye toward humor and seamlessness.
This piece of cotton candy was created by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten, a trio of writers who have vast experience in the world of comedy TV and playwriting.
You can sense the strain for a laugh and sit-com vibe in this script. Each woman faces a crisis in her life and that, too, feels strained.
But no matter โ these actresses are talented and each one of them knows how to deliver a line designed to make you guffaw. And sometimes thatโs enough.
