Buddhist monks create mandala at UA

A Buddhist teacher and monks will create a mandala at the University of Arizona BookStores, 1209 E. University Blvd., Sunday, April 2 through Thursday, April 6. 

Drupon Thinley Ningpo Rinpoche, along with several monks, will create the mandala out of colored sand 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, according to press materials. 

The mandala will be ritually dissolved 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 6 with a lecture titled "Mandala and Mindfulness" following.
