Temple Emanu-El, 225 N. Country Club Road, will host a Tibetan Buddhist monk to speak on "The Power of Gratitude to Heal," Friday, Nov. 25.

The evening with Ringu Tulku Rinpoche begins 5 p.m. with a reception preceding the Chardonnay Shabbat service at 5:45 p.m. Both are free.

Following the service, Rabbi Samuel Cohon and Rabbi Batsheva Appel will continue the conversation with the monk at a dinner.

For adults, the cost of dinner is $36. Students pay $12. Some of the proceeds will support Rigul Clinic in Tibet, according to press materials.

Temple Emanu-El and Bodhicharya Arizona are both sponsors of the event.
