The University of Arizona's Institute for the Study of Religion and Culture will present "The Abrahamic Family Reunion" 4:30 to 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7 at the UA Poetry Center, 1508 E. Helen St. Β 

Rabbi Sanford Seltzer from the Institute for Judaic Services and Studies in Saddlebrook and Temple Emanu-El, Courtney Friesen of the UA's Religious Studies and Classics Department and Scott Lucas of the UA's School of Middle Eastern and North African Studies will discuss Jerusalem as a sacred space in Judaism, Christianity and Islam.Β 

Alison Jameson, director of the Institute for the Study of Religion and Culture, will moderate.Β

The Arizona Center for Judaic Studies will also present the lecture "Israel, Jordan and Palestine β€” What is Their Place in the New Middle East?" 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7 at the Tucson Jewish Community Center, 3800 E. River Road.Β 

Asher Susser, the Stein Family Professor of Modern Israel Studies at the UA, will speak in the first lecture this year in the Shaol and Louis Pozez Memorial Lecture Series.Β
