The Jewish History Museum, 564 S. Stone Ave., will host several public officials this week in an effort to educate local leaders about the expansion of the museum, particularly after the opening of the Holocaust History Center earlier this year.

The museum hopes the community will view the center as a place not only to reflect on the past, but also as "a center of conscience" for the present, said Bryan Davis, the executive director of the museum.

U.S. Rep. Martha McSally and Mayor Jonathan Rothschild are each scheduled to visit the museum throughout the week.
