Ron Barber to share β€˜Last Lecture’
at Sacred Space

Former Congressman Ron Barber will speak at the weekly non-faith and interfaith gathering at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

The Sacred Space presentation at the Temple of Music and Art’s art gallery, 330 S. Scott Ave., will include his β€œLast Lecture,” or β€œwhat his last words would be were he to speak for the last time,” press materials said. Barber’s lecture will launch a series delving into personal values.

Dennis Prager to speak at Christians United for Israel event

Christians United for Israel will host its sixth Night to Honor Israel at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Dennis Prager, a nationally syndicated radio talk show host, will speak on the relationship between the United States and Israel. The Gatekeepers, a local worship team, will perform traditional songs in Hebrew, among other music, said John Winchester, the Tucson city director for Christians United for Israel.

The event will involve Christian and Jewish communities across Tucson, including Congregation Anshei Israel, the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona, Pantano Christian Church and Christian organization 4Tucson, Winchester said.
