Freethought Arizona discusses secularism

Freethought Arizona will explore the role of secularism in society Sunday.

Ronald Lindsay, president and CEO of the Center for Inquiry, will discuss his new book โ€œThe Necessity of Secularism: Why God Canโ€™t Tell Us What to Doโ€ and the interaction between secular philosophy, religion and public policy.

A casual discussion will last from 8 to 9:15 a.m. with Lindsayโ€™s talk following from 10 a.m. to noon.

The free event takes place in the DuVal Auditorium at Banner-University Medical Center Tucson, 1501 N. Campbell. There is free parking in the visitor parking areas.
