"This helps to induce chemical responses within the body, which can put you on the path to longer and more restful sleep.” Some of these sleep-regulating hormones are; melatonin, serotonin, tryptophan, potassium, magnesium, and many more. It is these hormones that can enhance the quality of sleep, making you fall asleep faster and for longer.
