Old fashion advertisements are a fun way to see how women dressed years ago. While the prices are eye-popping, one must remember people didn't make as much then.

The College Shop clearly aims its advertisements to coeds and young adults. This ad ran in the Arizona Daily Star July 2, 1957.

However, anyone who responded to this ad that ran July 2, 1957, and went to buy the playsuit, might have kicked themselves two days later when Penney's offered a much better price. We can't vouch for the quality of either item in 2017, however.
