Janice Molina, center holding bell.

What: Ben’s Bells promote kindness and community involvement. Each week a person who makes Tucson better is “belled.”

Last week’s recipient: Janice Molina.

Nominated by: Mary Speidel.

Why: For her volunteer work in the community. She is a volunteer for area food banks. She visits the elderly in nursing homes and works daily bringing meals, clothes and toiletries to the homeless. She volunteers at the kitchen at her church and with TIHAN’s Poz Cafe. “Her generosity is endless,” Speidel wrote in her nomination letter. “Janice has inspired those in her life to get out in the community and help people.”
