A pedestrian suffered serious injuries in a crash that closed a portion of South 12th Avenue, south of West Valencia Road Friday night, police said.
The avenue was closed June 2 between West Elvira and West Corona roads, said Sgt. Kimberly Bay, a Tucson Police Department spokeswoman, in a tweet.
It was not known how long the avenue will be shut down.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
No further information was immediately available.Β
