Tucson police identified a man who died Sunday after being injured in a Jan. 8 crash on North Fourth Avenue.Β

Michael Hidalgo, 67, died Jan. 21 from injuries sustained when he was driving a red Ford F150 eastbound on East Sixth Street and failed to stop at a red light at the intersection with North Fourth Avenue, Tucson police said in a news release Monday. Hidalgo's truck struck a white Ford F150 that was stopped at the light around 2 p.m. The white Ford F150 struck a Honda CRV that also was stopped for the light.Β

Police said speed does not appear to be a factor in the wreck, but officers were investigating whether Hidalgo may have been impaired.Β

Hidalgo was not wearing a seatbelt. No other injuries were reported.Β
