Sunnyside High School is one of the top 10 schools in the state to compete in a 'We the People' championship in January.

'We the People' teaches students about contemporary constitutional issues, history of democratic philosophy and the history of the Constitution and Bill of Rights.ย 

The championship competition will take place at Mesa Community College on Jan. 13, 2017.ย 

Sunnyside is the only Tucson area high school to compete in the state competition.ย
