A boy who was killed in an ATV rollover Sunday in Benson was identified as Wyatt Bell.
The 4-year-old child was a passenger on the all-terrain vehicle that was being driven by a friend of the child's family, said Carol Capas, a Cochise County Sheriff's spokeswoman.
The vehicle, similar to a dune buggy, rolled and the boy was ejected, causing fatal injuries, said Capas.
Shortly before noon Sunday, deputies responded to the crash near Ocotillo Road and Little Rincon Ranch, said Capas. The crash happened on private property, and the boy's family was nearby.
The child was taken to a hospital and was pronounced dead, Capas said.Β
The investigation is continuing.
