A 25-year-old man was shot and killed at a Sierra Vista apartment complex Friday afternoon, authorities said.
Police responded to a 911 call of shots fired shortly before 3:30 p.m. and found Arturo Vasquez Romero dead in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds, said Judy Hector, a Sierra Vista spokeswoman.
Officers searched the area and found the weapon near the apartment complex, and witnesses provided a description of a suspect who was located nearby and arrested.
26-year-old Carlos Robles is being held at the Cochise County Jail on charges of first and second degree murder, according to Carol Capas, a spokeswoman for the Cochise County Sheriff's Office.
Police continue to investigate, but believe there are no other suspects involved.
