Four locations in or around downtown, including the Pima County Attorney's Office, were evacuated this afternoon after receiving bomb threats, authorities said.
In addition to the county attorney's office, 32 N. Stone Ave., two El Rio facilities- Community Health Center, 839 W. Congress St., and the Neighborhood Center, 1390 W. Speedway Blvd.- were evacuated, said Officer Dan Lucas, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.
The fourth building, located at 300 West Congress Street, houses IRS offices and the U.S. Immigration Court.
The first call came in shortly before 11 a.m., the person on the line indicating that there was a bomb inside of the building.
All four buildings decided to self-evacuate, Lucas said.
As of 2:30 p.m., police had cleared two of the buildings.
Police are investigating the situation, and it's currently unknown if the phone calls were related.
