A serial shoplifting suspect who turned himself into police in May has been arrested again on multiple shoplifting-related charges, authorities said.

23-year-old Jesus Cota is accused of committing 28 different acts of aggravated shoplifting at a south side Circle K for the past several months, Tucson Police said in a post on their Facebook page.

The Circle K is in the 1900 block of East 36th St.

Cota has been booked into the Pima County jail.

In May, Cota turned himself in to Pima County sheriff's detectives after seeing himself on the news and Facebook in connection with at shoplifting incidents at twoΒ Circle K stores on the south side. At that time, Cota was booked on suspicion of 30 counts of aggravated shoplifting and one count of theft.
