A 64-year-old woman was struck and killed Saturday morning on Interstate-10 near Tangerine Road, authorities said.
Ann Murchek was fatally struck by a commercial vehicle about 7:00 a.m. as she tried to cross the interstate, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Her vehicle was found nearby, pulled off in the emergency lane with its hood up, the state DPS said.
No other injuries were reported.
