A Tucson police incident on the Miracle Mile overpass at Interstate 10 Wednesday morning caused a big traffic backup on the freeway.
The westbound lanes of Interstate 10 were closed, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. About 9:30 a.m. traffic was backed up beyond downtown.
ADOT did not specify the police action, but a witness said it involves a man on the overpass.
The westbound lanes reopened about 10:30 a.m.
