An 82-year-old man was killed Tuesday morning when he crashed into a traffic signal pole and then a tree in Marana, authorities say.
Ivan Jensen was driving a Chevrolet Impala about 9:40 a.m. when he struck a traffic signal pole at West Cortaro Farms Road and North Hartman Lane. The Impala then continued and struck a tree, said Sgt. Vincent Rizzi of the Marana Police Department.
Jensen was taken to the hospital, where he died.
The investigation into the crash continues.
