UPDATE: Police ID woman, 20, killed in crash on Tucson's south side

A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Tucson's southwest side at about 3 p.m. Friday afternoon, authorities said.

Tucson Police Department traffic detectives are investigating the crash at the Tucson Boulevard and Drexel Road intersection, said Sgt. Pete Dugan, a department spokesman.

The road reopened several hours later, Dugan said.

The woman was a passenger in one of the vehicles, Dugan said. She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Both drivers were treated for minor injuries. There doesn't appear to be any signs of impairment from the drivers, Dugan said. The investigation is ongoing.

No further information has been released.
