Pima County Sheriff's deputies are asking for the public's help in locating a hiker who was last seen on Monday.
On Tuesday, the Sheriff's department received a report that 28-year-old Amy MichelleΒ Kijewski had not returned home from a Monday hike on Mt. Lemmon, said Deputy Ira Sewell, a department spokesman.
Her vehicle was located at the Palisades Trailhead, and Kijewski is believed to have gone hiking near the Palisades Trail, Butterfly Trail or Davis Spring, Sewell said.
She's described as being 5'3" tall, 135 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a royal blue short-sleeve shirt, green or grey shorts that fall above the knee and flip flops.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts should call 911 or 88-CRIME.
