A Pinal County man was killed Saturday when he drove off a cliff on Mount Lemmon, authorities say.
David McClure, 66, was driving a pickup truck along a state road on the east side of the mountain Saturday afternoon when he failed to negotiate a turn and fell 40 feet from a cliff, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a news release.
McClure, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the crash scene.
"There is no indication of suspicious or criminal activity contributing to the collision," the release said.
