A fourth person has died in a weekend crash in Tucson that involved a ride-share vehicle, authorities say.

Waymon Hamlett, 82, of Tucson, was the driver of the ride-share vehicle that collided with another car about 8:10 p.m. Saturday on Arizona 86, southwest of the city, the state Department of Public Safety said. Both passengers — Aleesha Herrington, 25, and Dejon Nicole Weaver, 48 — died at the crash scene.

Hamlett was driving a Jeep Cherokee SUV when it struck a Ford Fusion while making a left turn.

Hamlett died Wednesday morning at a local hospital, according to DPS officials.

A 17-year-old in the rear seat of the Ford — Julian Daniel Monte — was also killed in the wreck. Two others in the Ford were hospitalized, Drexel Heights Fire said.

The crash remains under investigation.
