A border patrol agent died Tuesday night in Douglas after crashing an ATV into a utility pole, reports say.
The crash occurred behind the Walmart shopping complex center in Douglas, according to Sierra-based news outlet the Herald/Review Media.
"At this time all I can confirm is that the crash occurred and CBP is reviewing the incident," said John Mennell, a spokesman for the agency.
The agent "was in his 40s," according to the Arizona Republic.
Few details are available at this time.
