One person was killed in a crash during a recent Border Patrol pursuit near Arivaca, authorities say.
The driver of a vehicle an agent tried to stop about 2:30 p.m. Aug. 9, fled then crashed near near Ruby and Old Stage roads, US Customs and Border Protection said in a statement.
A passenger of the vehicle was killed in the wreck.
No further details had been provided Friday.
