Resort for pups opens in Tucson

A new pooch resort is now open on the city’s east side.

Paw Commons Pet Resort leased 7,500 square feet at 6211 E. Speedway, near North Wilmot Road. It has a massive outdoor play area with agility structures, splash pools and misting systems.

Operating pet resorts across California and Arizona for 25 years, CEO Ben Vosberg opened the Tucson location to be closer to family.

Paw Commons offers dog boarding, daycare, training and grooming.

Other local commercial activity includes:

• A Webooo Bar and Grill expanded its Fourth Avenue restaurant space with Pelican 4th Ave LLC for a total of 4,526 square feet at 601-611 N. Fourth Ave. Aaron LaPrise and Dave Hammack, with Picor, handled the transaction.
• The Hand of Grace LLC leased 3,052 square feet of office space, at 750 S. Craycroft Road from 750 South Craycroft LLC. Ryan McGregor and Denisse Angulo-Badilla, with Picor, handled the lease.
• IM=X Pilates leased 2,975 square feet of retail space at Colonia Verde Shopping Center, 7181 E. Tanque Verde Road, from ROK Colonia Verde LLC. Dave Hammack, with Picor, represented the landlord and Rhiannon Buono, with Morrow Hill, represented the tenant.
  • Culinary Concept Ventures LLC, dba Salad Nation, leased 1520 square feet at 6425 N. Oracle Road, in the Orange Grove Village. It is expected to open by the end of the year. Craig Finfrock, of Commercial Retail Advisors LLC, represented the landlord, S1K LLC, and the tenant was represented by Kameron Norwood, with Picor.
  • Lucid Awakening LLC, which offers therapy services, leased 1,368 square feet at 1200 N. El Dorado Place. The landlord, Larsen Baker, was represented by its broker, Isaac Figueroa.
  • Guide Tech LLC, an aerospace firm specializing in unmanned systems, has expanded its footprint by 1,158 square feet in Silverbell Plaza, 8567 N. Silverbell Road. Craig Finfrock, of Commercial Retail Advisors LLC, represented the Landlord, Namaki Living Trust.
