The entrepreneurial spirit of students in the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Arizona was on full display on Thursday at the eighth annual McGuire Innovation Expo.

The public event on the UA Mall showcased the local entrepreneurial community, featuring student new ventures, campus innovators and entrepreneurial education opportunities.

Thirteen McGuire student teams presented their entrepreneurial projects, including ideas for collective housing for young professionals, a fast-acting caffeine gum, 100% recycled luggage, a continuous glucose sensor for diabetics and athletes and a game-like app for music lessons.

Khushi Praveen, the chief operating officer of Revosense, talks to Eller College of Management staff during the McGuire Innovation Expo. Revosense was created to innovate the technology behind health sensors for diabetics and athletes.
