Officials in Cochise County are currently investigating a crash that left one dead and nine others injured.Β
About 9 p.m. Friday night, officials with the Cochise County Sheriff's Office were requested to assist border agents in the area of Highway 191 at Sheep Trail, near Cochise.Β
Deputies were able to locate a vehicle that was overturned off the roadway and in a remote area, said a news release from department spokeswoman Carol Capas.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, the release said. Nine others were taken to hospitals, some with critical injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and no further information has been released.
