Investigators are searching for a man suspected of trying to abduct a woman Tuesday night while she walked in her neighborhood on Tucson’s southwest side.
About 9:30 p.m., the woman was walking in her neighborhood near West Los Reales Road and South Camino De La Tierra when she says a man grabbed her from behind, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department said Wednesday in a news release.
On Sept 23 around 9:30 PM, a woman was attacked near Los Reales Rd & Brackenbury Dr. The suspect grabbed her from behind & covered her mouth and nose.
She had seen him earlier near Tetakusim Rd & Bolingbroke Ave.

Described as a heavy-set male, possibly Hispanic or Native American.

Several people soon called 911, reporting that a woman was screaming for help.
The woman told police she first noticed the heavy-set man a few blocks away near the intersection of West Tetakusim Road and South Bolingbroke Avenue. The attack occurred a few blocks away from where the assault occurred near South Brackenbury Drive.
The Sheriff’s Department released a YouTube video taken from a neighborhood surveillance camera. They hope the ghostly images help identify the man.
