A Marana High School teacher has been arrested on suspicion of sexual exploitation of a minor after being accused of exchanging an “explicit” photograph with a student, police say.

A student told administrators about the photo on Monday and police were called immediately to investigate, the school district said. The teacher, Breyden Main, 28, was arrested later in the day, the Marana Police Department said in a news release.

He was booked into the Pima County jail on the felony charge. Bond was set at $30,000, police said.

Main, who has been with the district since July 2019, was placed on administrative leave.

The case is still being investigated.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Marana Police Department at 520-382-2000 or 88CRIME, the anonymous tip line.
