A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and aggravated assault in connection with the attack of a woman at a Tucson-area park, authorities say.
About 9:20 a.m. Wednesday deputies went to Christina Taylor Green Memorial Park, near North Shannon and West Magee roads, after reports of an assault. They found and injured woman and she was taken to the hospital, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a news release.
An investigation resulted in the arrest of a 16-year-old boy on July 31 at 8 p.m. in connection with the attack. The teen was taken to the Pima County Juvenile Detention Center, the release said.
The investigation is ongoing.
