Two men were injured after gunshots were fired early Saturday outside a midtown hookah lounge.

Tucson police said a group of people tried to enter the Moonlight Hookah Lounge, 4509 E. 22nd St., around 2:30 a.m. but were denied entry. The group went to the parking lot, where the altercation unfolded. One of the men suffered life-threatening injuries.

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call 911 or leave an anonymous tip at 88-CRIME (882-7463).
