Authorities are looking for a man they believe is responsible for a Thursday night bank robbery on Tucson's northwest side.
At about 5:45 p.m., deputies were called to the Compass Bank branch located inside Albertson's, 5085 N. La Canada Dr., said Deputy Cody Gress, a Pima County Sheriff's Department spokesman.
They learned that a man walked up to the bank teller and put a note on the counter demanding cash from the drawer. The teller gave the man money and he promptly left the store, Gress said.
The suspect is believed to be in his early to mid-20s, about 5'6" tall, with brown hair and a clean-shaven face. He was last seen wearing a white hat, dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
