Pima County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man believed to be responsible for multiple armed robberies at drive-through restaurants in the Tucson area, authorities said.
The most recent robbery took place shortly before 7 p.m. on April 20, at the McDonalds located at 2990 W. Valencia Road.
There isn't a final number of how many robberies the man is believed to be responsible for, but there have been several reported to both the Sheriff's Department, as well as Tucson Police Department, said Courtney Rodriguez, a Sheriff's department spokeswoman.
In each of the robberies, the suspect has ordered food at the drive-through and paid for his order. When the employees opened the cash register, the suspect brandished a black handgun, before taking money out of the register, Rodriguez said.
No one has been injured during any of the incidents.
The man has been seen driving two different vehicles, a white four-door Dodge Ram 1500 and a grey four-door SUV, but the Dodge has been used most frequently, Rodriguez said.
The suspect is described as having a thin build and being in his late-teens to early-20s. He was last seen wearing a grey striped hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a black hat with no markings.
